Guidelines for VSN Profile Rules

Our rules are meant to help you help us create a friendly environment. We can not be among the best if we can’t do the best. This is a global network that deserves the best and wants to associate itself with the best there is.

What not to post as your profile photo (Regarding the photo(s) you upload for your profile):

Avoid photos that make you look intimidating, unfriendly, angry, goofy, depressed, bored, weird or undignified. Please try to avoid photos with sunglasses or anything else that partially hides the face because PEOPLE or BUSINESS OWNERS will think you're trying to hide SOMETHING. Please don't UPLOAD shirtless photos or photos in which you're wearing shabby or dirty-looking clothing. Do your best to make a good impression! VSN Management has the right to edit or delete YOUR PHOTO or LOGO as we deem fit.

Use of logo as your profile photo

1. 1.      You must own the right to the logo, and it must be own by your business.  You can not use other company’s logo. VSN will not be responsible for any unauthorized use of companies’ logo.
2. 2.      Please use professionally friendly photo of yourself. VSN would not be responsible for the use of unauthorized photos.

What not to post or upload:

1. 1.      Do not post or upload unauthorized LOGO (s) or PHOTO (s)
2. 2.      Please, do not post or upload graphic PHOTO(s) such as pornographic.
3. 3.      Please, do not upload or post any photo(s) that shows guns, knives, or any gestures that encourages violent or drug use.

Use of link (Posting a link (s), the dos):

1. 1.      When you post link, please make sure the link is yours and does not belong to someone else.
2. 2.      VSN will accept the following links:  Business links, Teen links, Educational links, Religious links, etc. and provided these links meets our terms of use. Any links that does not meet our terms of use will be deleted. We are trying to build a professional, business and people friendly network.

What not to post as links (Do not):

1. 1.      VSN would not accept graphic links that shows guns, knives, or any gestures that encourages violent or drugs use.
2. 2.      VSN discourages the use of pornographic links, because this is a business friendly environment.

Regarding the written content of your profile:

1. First and foremost, BE TRUTHFUL. If you deliberately lie or omit important information, the legal and other consequences to you or your business can be severe. At VSN we respect honesty and have great contempt for in accuracies.

2. Use simple, easy to understand English, because if you don’t, you'll just be misunderstood.

3.  Be concise. Restrict your answers to a maximum of 150 words (50 is ideal). VSN profiles are only a page long. If you write more than that, we reserve the right to edit out parts of your profile in order to bring it down to an acceptable length. 

4. Describe YOURSELF or YOUR BUSINESS, not the person or (business) you are looking for. Other services may encourage people or businesses to use their profile to describe the type of person or business they are looking for, but VSN management do not think that's a good idea. Your profile or business profile should describe YOU or YOUR BUSINESS. 

NOTE: We have the rights to delete or edit any profile we feel violet these profile rules.
